These Booking Terms & Conditions govern the travel planning, group logistics, and concierge services provided by Inside Bahia ("we," "us," "our"). By paying a deposit, approving an itinerary design proposal, or executing a service agreement with us, the client ("you," "your") accepts and agrees to these terms. 

  1. Scope of Services
    Inside Bahia specializes in Custom Journey Design, local logistics coordination, and concierge services within the state of Bahia, Brazil. Our styling and design fee covers the research, curation, and organizational management of your trip. 

As stated in our operational policies: 

  • We are itinerary planners and logistics coordinators; we do not book, sell, or manage international or domestic commercial airline flights. 

  • Clients retain the absolute freedom to select their own properties or execute hotel bookings directly if they prefer. 

  • Our journey design services and concierge management fees operate under distinct structures, as detailed in your specific quote. 

  1. Independent Supplier Status & Limitation of Liability
    We act exclusively as an intermediary coordinator between you and independent local service providers, including but not limited to boutique hotels, private transport companies, local tour guides, and boat operators. 

Because these providers are independent businesses: 

  • We do not own, manage, or control their employees, facilities, or vehicles. 

  • Inside Bahia cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense caused by the acts, omissions, negligence, or financial default of any independent local supplier. 

  • Our liability is strictly limited to the professional execution and coordination of our design and planning services. 

  1. Force Majeure & Weather Disruption
    We prioritize your safety and comfort above all else. However, travel in tropical regions can occasionally be subject to unpredictable events. Inside Bahia is not liable for, and will not issue refunds for, changes, delays, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure). This includes, but is not limited to: severe tropical storms, flooding, natural disasters, strikes, airport closures, civil unrest, or sudden government restrictions. If disruptions occur, we will work diligently to adjust logistics and find alternative local arrangements, but any associated third-party fees remain your responsibility. 

  2. Mandatory Travel Insurance
    Due to the custom nature of high-end travel and the strict cancellation policies of boutique hotels in Bahia, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients booking through Inside Bahia. Your policy must cover trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, and emergency medical evacuation. You acknowledge that Inside Bahia is not responsible for any financial losses or medical costs incurred during your journey. 

  3. Governing Law and Jurisdictional Forum
    These Booking Terms & Conditions and all contractual relationships between you and Inside Bahia shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of our services must be brought exclusively in the courts of Itacaré. 

  4. Severability
    If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
